A Great Experiment

Why is this description used only for America? The founders knew that our country was unique because of their hope in Jesus Christ. They fashioned their ideas about governing from the Bible. As long as we follow this ideal, we will experience the good life that results from following the instructions given in the scriptures. However, each individual must decide for themselves how they will live. How long will we swing the pendulum before we go beyond return? How many corrupt generations will it take to forget every good thing, every wonderful consequence of living for the glory and honor of God?

Even those who do not share our faith in Jesus Christ, cannot say we should live contrary to the teaching and life example of Jesus. In fact, none of those who stand in opposition to God are okay with their family members being killed, their spouses cheating or their stuff being stolen. In spite of all the protest that there is no God and we are just overdeveloped bacteria, there is no other explanation for our adoption of emotion and significant assignment of common right and wrong. Yet, Christians struggle to stand strong for the standards set forth in the Word of God. Truth be told some of us don’t know the standards, at all. We read our Bible mainly Sunday morning and if asked about, even main, Bible events, we would be foggy on those details. If we know that God values liberty then why are we so slow to protect it? Why are church leaders not calling their congregations to get active in the most conservative local group that strives to protect life, protect freedom of worship, speech and property ownership? Where is our staying power? We should not be tossed to and fro with the winds of social culture. Are there enough true believers to save the nation?

Abraham prayed for the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah when Lot, His nephew, was living there. (Genesis 18:20-33) Then in Chapter 19, the cities are destroyed because five could not be found. Are there 70% of church attenders, who are not too weak to stand up for Jesus? Are there 40% who want to live Holy? Are there 20% that hunger and thirst after God?  What America? Are there 10% who will seek forgiveness, repent and turn to God?

Search the scriptures, study so that you will know the answers. Memorize so that it is written in your heart and you may withstand temptation. We are nearing the point of no return. Our children’s minds are being polluted with pornography, in the name of tolerance. They are being taught that wrong is right, that life has no value or purpose. They are watching adults live for immediate pleasure, by uncontrolled selfishness at their expense. Our precious future, the arrows in our quivers, are having their feather fletching cut so they will not be able to fly. Psalm 127

We cannot sit back and let some one else do it. God will help us but we must seek Him, ask Him. It is time we must unite and fight for Our Lord, God of all creation. Our author of Liberty and freedom.

Isaiah 50:7-10 KJV  For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up. Who is among you that feareth the Lord , that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord , and stay upon his God.
