How will Jesus find me?
How will Jesus find me?
Would Jesus smile at what I am doing right now. Mark 13:35-37 NKJV

Is my faithful behavior worthy of reward. Revelation 22:20 NKJV

I cannot lax in doing good because Jesus is coming very soon. Romans 13:11 NKJV

Stopping to think about what I am doing occasionally each day, I ask myself if what I am doing, thinking, saying or working at is pleasing to God? It's an important random question. If the answer is not a sound, "yes", then I rethink the value of what I am doing. There many mundane things in life that must be done but how I do them makes a difference. Jesus is not going to smile at dishonest, grumbling, shoddy work and perverse, mocking, addictive entertainments. If my life is to bring grateful honor, praise and glory to Jesus then I should do so in the way I work and play.
Each day I start with time to be still and reflect on who I am and why I am still here. The Bible describes faithful followers as vigilant and ready. When Jesus comes I don't want to be found investing time and effort in activities that are not in line with helping me walk obediently with Him. I want to be worthy of all the beauty and love rewards Jesus might gift me for the purpose of serving Him more and differently than I am already.
There should be an urgency to tell others and live my life righteously. My constant goal must be to bring honor and glory to God. Sure, I will mess up at times. I will fail to do what I know is right. I should be anxious to return to my walk with Jesus because I believe He may come at anytime. I believe the Bible. It says that Jesus is coming and with Him my reward. I don't know about you but for me, I want Him to smile because He's caught me doing something good.
