Justice Failed

Isaiah 59:15-16 KJV Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

The scripture was a message to the Hebrew people. God saw that those who sought truth and righteousness were being criminalized. Does this sound familiar? Look at God's emotion toward this, He was displeased. He looked for someone to intervene but there was no one capable.

By this we know that God is sympathetic to those that want to escape the tentacles of evil so much as to be victims at the hand of culture, family, law and society. He sent Jesus so that we can cloak ourselves in Him. Jesus is the Arm of salvation. When earthly justice fails to protect us, when evil judges and condemns us, God is on our side.

Salvation is for those who believe that Jesus is mercy, Justice, grace and peace of God. Jesus is love for us. There is no other way to God. We must go through Jesus and this is how we will be judged. Our good deeds will amount to a small puddle, but only if we have done them through Jesus.

How does God feel about my attitude toward truth and righteousness? While man's ideas of justice can be corrupted and change, God's justice never fails. It does not change with the wind. It is not fickle. It is pure and righteous. My attitude about truth and righteousness is revealed in my daily living. In Jesus name, I want to follow the law, be kind to my neighbor and live like Jesus live because it pleases God. If I do not live justly, practice honesty, crave God's justice over man's. People in other countries experience the autrosities and perversions of man's invented justice everyday. Many have not heard of Jesus and God's justice. Many have and are taught that this forgiveness through Jesus is wrong. They are victims to justice failed. God will have revenge for this and Jesus reiterates this in the command to bring the children. We have this hope, God's justice will not fail.
