What’s Antichrist?

Denying God's existence. A person, a movement, a lie. 2 Thessalonians 2:4 NKJV
The Antichrist is already here. 1 John 4:3 NKJV
God comforts, keeps and establishes believers in good word and works.
2 Thessalonians 2:14-17 NKJV
It is amazing to me that I make it through each day, finding good and hope. I am quite sure that this is only possible because I spend time in prayer and Bible study. There are many that work around me and with me, who deny God's power and authority over life. They live as though God is not in the room, that the instructions of God's Word are suggestions. The life around me is teaming with germs of Antichrist.
As I was growing up in the church, the antichrist was always spoken of as a person. A specific person who influenced and directed nations to deny Christ and God. This maybe so, but as I grow I have see the antichrist at work. This nefarious movement is here, now. We are at war with antichrist, already. The Bible describes the antichrist as anyone or thing that denies God's existence and sets in His place or replaces God's direction with their own perversion. This kind of indoctrination is all around us. It's in our school text books, our government, our news and our church leadership. We feed it into our minds by the music we listen to, books we read, movies, t.v. shows and emotions we entertain, excuse and accommodate.
Even, today, there is whispering, guesstamations and prophesy about one person, who will embody the evilest evil and set about ruling the world. I believe that when we have come to that there will be hardly a human remaining that seeks God, truth and freedom. Right now, our world is filled with despicable evil that feigns itself, religion. Could we, in the US, have a revival? It has happened in our history once. It could happen, again. This Sunday is our “National call to fall”. Calling all Americans to fall on their knees, repent and ask forgiveness for our country. We can plead with God to open our eyes to our own sin, ask Him to guide us away from deceit and lead us, again, in the way of life and light. This Sunday across the USA, corporate worship and prayer should unite us. God will hear our humble prayers. Will God see that there are more of us and save us? I pray so. How is it possible to stand for life, light and God? How can we press onward with hope? True believers have peace because we get our direction unto good works from God's word. We have a hunger and thirst to do right and love life because of Christ. We know that what comes next, is better. Philippians 1:20-21 NKJV
